[Introducing Hotel] Vol057 VIA INN Shinsaibashi Nagahoridori in Osaka, Japan

Lately I often go to Kansai(関西) area, such as Osaka, Kyoto on business.
I went to Osaka last week and stayed at "VIA INN Shinsaibashi Nagahoridori".

In Vol057, I would like to introduce this hotel.

At the first time, I would like to say "Please be care that there are two kinds of VIA INN in near area.

One is "VIA INN Shinsaibashi Nagahoridori" I would like to introduce and the other is "VIA INN Shinsaibashi". Both are almost the same name.
Please refer to the following map.

Location:
As I showed the map above, this hotel is located just on "Yotsubashi station" and very near "Shinsaibashi station" of subway and it is so convenient for transporting.
It takes 3-5mins on foot from ticket-gate of Shinsaibashi station.

Room:
I think the room is general one, comparing with the single-rooms of other hotel.
It is so clean and almost all amenities are prepared.

WiFi:
Off course free-WiFi is prepared.

Around:
There is a convenience-store and it takes 1-2mins on foot.

[Lunch Box] Shao-mai & Fried Rice Lunch Box

I have already mentioned that I had gone to Kyoto and bought lunch box at Tokyo station.

It was shao-mai and fried rice lunch box.
According to the dictionary, "shao-mai" means "steamed Chinese pork dumpling wrapped in a thin flour‐and‐water pancake".

This is one point Japanese lesson.

You can see "海老シュウマイ" and "肉シュウマイ" in Japanese at the 1st picture.
"海老" means shrimp.(I think "shrimp" is suitable to explain)
"肉" means "meat".
"シュウマイ" means "shao-mai".

[Introducing Hotel] Vol056 Daiwa Roynet Hotel Shijyo Karasuma in Kyoto, Japan

Last week I went to Kyoto to see my old friends and drunk too much.
I stayed at Daiwa Roynet Hotel Shijyo Karasuma in Kyoto and would like to introduce it in my movie(Vol056).

This hotel is located near Shijyo station of subway and it takes within 1mins on foot from the exit No.5.
Shijyo station is the 2nd station from Kyoto station, (Kyoto->Gojyo->Shijyo) and it is convenient in terms of transferring.
Besides this hotel is near bustling street named Shin-Kyogoku and it is also convenient for shopping, sight-seeing etc.

I had a reservation of one single-room but it was up-graded to Twin-room.
I think in this season, there are a bit of few people to stay.

The size of the room is almost the same as the one of general twin-room.
Almost of amenities are prepared and hair dryer, air cleaner, trouser press is also prepared.

I enjoyed staying myself.

For breakfast, there is a restaurant named "Moto-no-Kura" on the 1st floor.
It offers Japanese(Kyoto) food by buffet-style.
The charge is \1000(about US$8-9).

Lunch Box of Pork Cutlet

When I went to Osaka on business last time, I bought lunch box of pork cutlet as the following pictures show.

Japanese lecture just starts !
"とんかつ" on the picture means "pork cutlet" and "弁当" means "lunch box".
Remembering "弁当"="lunch box", when you come to Japan and you see the characters of "弁当", you can easily understand that it is lunch box.

As you can buy it at the store of the station, please try it !
(I bought it at the store of Tokyo station)

[Introducing Hotel] Vol055 APA Hotel Kannai, Kannai in Yokohama, Japan

Introducing Hotel I stayed at.

In Vol055, I would like to introduce "APA Hotel Kannai" in Yokohama, Japan.
It is located near Kannai station of Negishi line(Blue train) and it takes around 2-3 mins on foot.

It is also near Yokohama park and Yokohama Stadium(where base ball game is hold) and you can go there on foot.

The price of this hotel is reasonable and I do not think that the room is wide.
But almost all amenities are prepared and it is enough for me.

Besides there is a public bath on the top floor and you can enjoy yourself.
I think it is good point.
